The ever-classic MSR PocketRocket but with a bit of an upgrade. This little guy has a built in piezo igniter and pressure regulator to ensure a consistent flame.

• Push-Start Ignition: Fast, reliable piezo lighting; spark igniter has built in wind-shield
• Boil Time: 3.3 minutes for 1 L of fuel

Fuel Usage

Water boiled per 1 oz of fuel: 2.2 Litres

Burn time 8-oz canister: 60 minutes

This is under favourable circumstances (temperature, no wind or elevation). We say always pack extra fuel but this is a good starting point to know how much to pack.
